Nahla Salama stated she would be back to star in a Moroccan series with a number of Arab stars. She plays Tayseer, an Egyptian widow with a kid, who falls in love with the talented blind Moroccan composer Mohamed El-Hayany. After the invasion in the 1960s and the expulsion of foreigners from Egypt, they both separate as he returns to Morocco while she stays in Egypt. As for her hiatus from the scene and not being offered any roles she said that it is not true at all, as she claims she was offered many roles. However, she is being very picky, putting into consideration her short history opposite great stars such as Ahmed Zaky, Mahmoud Abdel Azeez, Nour El-Sherif and Salah El-Saadany, saying she shouldn't just accept "Any role" after these appearances, and the moment she got a decent offer from a Moroccan production company she accepted right away. She also talked about her future plans, hinting she would be presenting a crazy TV program, but refused to go further in details until she signs the contract, and will also open a gallery with her friend in Zamalek.
