Dr. Sayyid Khattab clarifies the situation with censorship inspector Shadi Abdallah.

Dr. Sayyid Khattab - Head of Art Censorship- denied all rumors related to his threat to firing inspector Shadi Abdallah. Dr. Khattab said he was surprised with those statements which are not correct in any matter. He said that Shady and some of his colleagues refused to inspect studios and watch "Beta Cam" videos which are part of their job and they explained their refusal to their fear from taking bribes. The general manager was furious with their rejection to obey his orders, which forced him to investigate with them and this is when Dr. Khattab interfered and tried to avoid their dismissal from their jobs but he was not successful.This issue was raised as Shady Abdallah released a press statement about the corruption inside the censorship committee and that the employees are being bribed by the artists and producers. He also said that most workers in the censorship are not artists and do not have a method in applying their jobs and most of them consider art as prohibited in Islam.
