"The Expendables 2" jumps from PG-13 to R rated.

Even though Lionsgate, producers, were hoping for a PG-13 rating to attract more audience and more revenue eventually; "The Expendables 2" was rated R for 18 years and above viewers only for the large amount of violence, abusive language and sex scenes in it.The film which is expected to hit theaters in 17 August, is directed by Simon west and has a full cast of Hollywood stars like Sylvester Stallon, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Liam Hemsworth, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Arnold Schwarzenegger.It is worth mentioning that the first part had the same sequence of rating in 2012 when it was finally rated R for the high number of violence scenes and bad language.
