"Baad Al Mawkea" participates in the Abu Dhabi Film Festival.

The Abu Dhabi Film Festival organizing committee announced participating films that includes 16 long feature films that are competing on the Black Pearl Award that reaches 225,000 USD.Films participating are from Egypt "Baad Al Mawkea" by Yosry Narallah, from Algeria "Harraqa Blooze" by Mousa Hadad and "Otour El Jazaer" by Rasheed Belgag, from Tunsia "Matmoutesh" by Noury Bou Zeid, from Turkey "Somewhere in the Middle" by Yassmin Ostaglo, from China "Last Dinner" by Llu Shuan, from Chili "No" by Pablo Laran, from Japan "Anger Above Limit" by Takishi Kiatoe, from Denmark "Love is All You want" by Suzanne Pierre, from Italy "Ginger and Roza" by Sally Potter, from Portugal "Gibo and the Shadow" by Manuel Di Olivera, from Russia "Betrayal" by Kerill Srieprinicov and from the UK "Every Day" by Michale Winterbottom. The festival also includes other categories and they are New Horizons, Short Feature Films and Emirates Film Competition that also has films from other Gulf countries. A large number of films is being screened in the Panorama section parallel to the events of the festival. The organizing committee also announced that a Lifetime Achievement Awards will go to Italian actress Claudia Cardinale and Egyptian actress Sawsan Bader which is considered the first time giving this award to an Arabic artist.
