has learned through private sources that singer Mohammed Qamah has withdrawn from an upcoming concert at the American University in Cairo (AUC) scheduled for November 14th. Qamah pulled out of the show after seeing the order of the names of participating singers on the media announcement. He specifically objected to his name coming after that of Nesma Mahgoub. The concert, titled “Star Academy Reunion,” organized by the AUC group “Mozika,” which is headed by Nesma Mahgoub, is attempting to gather as many stars from the program as possible since its first season in 2004 up until 2011. Nesma Mahgoub, Star Academy Season 8 winner, will perform alongside Jordanian Mahmoud Shokry, Nasser Abol Afa, Jordanian Ahmed Ezzat, Mohamed Daqdouq, Mason Sadqa, Shahinaz, Lebanese Abdel Malek, and Saudi Mohamed Abdallah.
