Director Nevine Shalaby has announced to that she has finished shooting her series of films on sexual harassment in Egypt, produced by the United Nations Women Organization. The films are “Complaint to the Sea,” “Cut Off Your Hand,” and “Red Line.” Shalaby has decided to screen them in international festivals. Shalaby also finished shooting her documentary film “Women of Egypt,” which revolves around women who break the molds of conventional or “natural” work for women, like female microbus drivers and car washers. The film tackles these tough social relationships, as well as the women’s hopes after the January 25 revolution.
