Mohamed Ragab will be resuming shooting his new film “The Party” alongside Ahmed Ezz, Jumana Murad and Ruby. Ragab is playing a police officer investigating a crime around which the film revolves. Ragab said the film would be released during the midyear break of the coming year in theaters in Egypt and the Arab world. Having recently kept out of the spotlight, Ragab explained that he had received a lot of offers for Ramadan-season TV series, such as “Brothers Enemies” and “Blow,” but he opted out to take part in a big hit TV series which will be shot and then released during the next Ramadan, noting that he just finished reading the script. He will also be shooting his new comedy film after he wraps “The Party.” As for the postponement of “Metabaq mn Embarh,” which halted filming some time ago due to security concerns with outdoor scenes, Ragab confirmed that production would resume again with co-stars Mirvat Amen and Bassem Samra.
