Tunisian actress Dorra participated yesterday in the opening events of the Carthage Film Festival. Dorra has been involved for several days in the Tunis-based festival, and is also gearing up to return to Cairo for the 35th annual Cairo International Film Festival, which kicks off at the end of November.

Dorra conveyed her joy and gratitude at having received a special invitation from the board of the Carthage festival, which decided to honor her as a Tunisian artist who has well represented her country in international film forums through her body of work.

Dorra stressed how grateful she was to be involved in the official competition of the Cairo International Film Festival. Two films she starred in will be competing for an award. Between the Egyptian film "A Murder Filmed" and the Tunisian "Bab el-Fulla," the 32-year-old said she wished the award could go to both.
