Yesterday, "Zero Dark Thirty" premiered in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theater, formerly known as the Kodak Theater. The famous theater is of course home of the Oscars ceremony every February.

It feels like no coincidence that the Dolby Theater was chosen as the location of the premiere, given how much Oscar buzz "Zero Dark Thirty" is generating. Expectations are running high for nominations, particularly for best director to go to Kathryn Bigelow, who in 2008 made history by being the first woman to receive that award for her film "The Hurt Locker."

The film, which is the first to tackle the covert CIA operation to hunt down and kill Osama Bin Laden, stars Jessica Chastain, who looked stunning at the premiere in a flattering nude-paneled dress by Lebanese designer Elie Saab. She posed for photographs alongside her cast mates Chris Pratt, Edgar Ramirez, Aaron Paul, James Gandolfini, Kyle Chandler, Alexander Skarsgard and Jason Clarke.
