The generation that grew up with the Harry Potter cast was downright heartbroken this year when the franchise came to its inevitable end. Well, fans may be delighted to hear that some of the film's biggest stars are reprising their roles and shooting another, albeit shorter, Harry Potter film in secret at the Potter studios in Hertfordshire, U.K.
According to The Sun, Helena Bonham Carter and some of her cast mates are back shooting what will become a "mini movie" to be shown at the Harry Potter theme park, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, in Florida. This surprise ninth installment will also be screened in future Harry Potter theme parks: in California in 2014, and in Japan around 2016.
One of the sources who spoke with The Sun also added that the cast was very happy to be working together again.
Before "The Avengers" came out in May 2012, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" broke world records to have the highest grossing opening of all time, both in the United States and internationally. The film drew out record audience numbers and turned an enormous profit, raking in a whopping $1,328 million globally.
