Anne Hathaway: My hair cut for "Les Miserables" was the hardest moment of my career.

Hollywood a-listedstar, Anne Hathaway, described how difficult it was to cut her beautiful hairfor her role as a desperate single mother in "Les Miserables".

"It was thehardest moment of my career", Anne said, "I called my husband (actorAdam Shulman) and when I llooked at the mirror for the first time, I felt I wasturning into my gay brother and realized that I couldn't take it back."

Even though whilemaking the film Anne said that she didn't consider cutting her hair as asacrifice; but in that latest statement and just a few days before the releaseof her film she admitted she was horrified with this major transformation.

Anne plays therole of "Fantine", a single mother who was forced to sell her hairand her teeth to survive and be able to feed her children and eventually worksas a prostitute. Director Tom Hooper said Anne's performance is breathtaking!
