The Gr8 Women Awards honored Lebanese superstar Haifa Wahbi for her success, achievements, and her positive influence in the Arab world. The ceremony, held at the El Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai, brought together some of the most impressive women of the Arab world in the fields of medicine, science, engineering, design, and women's and children's rights.

Haifa was the only Middle Eastern artist among the group of Arab women at the ceremony, who included Ms. Amal Basha from Yemen, Ms. Fatema El Gaber, Ms. Bashayer Othman from Palestine, Shazly Nasser and Nujood Ali from Yemen, among others.

Wahbi received the "Most Popular Artist" award. She expressed her happiness and pride at receiving an award that reflects her popularity in the Arab world. She dedicated the prize to all of the women who face violence, hoping that they can liberate themselves from injustice. She encouraged women to realize their dreams because "women are symbols of love and peace."
