Adele and Beyoncé have both hit major milestones in their illustrious careers. But there may be one more on the near horizon. According to the UK's Daily Mail (not the most reputable news source, but...) the two award-winning artists have been booked to perform for American First Lady Michelle Obama for a big 50th birthday party next year. Though the date is still far off, preparations are reportedly underway for the celebration next January.

Beyoncé has performed for the first family many times before: she sang Etta James " link" for Michelle and Barack at their first inaugural ball, as well as the American national anthem at the second inaugural ceremony. For Adele, who won the Oscar last month for her "Skyfall" song, this will be a new frontier.

According to Daily Mail's source, "Adele has graciously accepted and waived her usual fee for the high-profile private performance. She will sing a selection of her most-loved hits for first lady and her friends."

Michelle turns 50 on January 17, 2014.
