It wasn't magic, but just a phone call fromSteve Carell that convinced Jim Carrey to accept the role of his competingmagician in "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone".

Carell, who said that he immediately sawCarrey with him in the film once he read the script, called him to accept therole. Golden Globe winner for "Man on the Moon" and "The TrumanShow" accepted to act with his friend happily and said that shooting wasfull of fun, as expected.
