Tilda Swinton is a very busy woman. Last month, she made an appearance in a highly anticipated David Bowie music video, for "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)," his first in 10 years. She's currently shooting Wes Anderson's "The Grand Budapest Hotel" with a knockout cast of Jude Law, Edward Norton, Ralph Fiennes, Adrien Brody, Bill Murray and Saoirse Ronan. But she also takes time for some rest and relaxation. Sometimes inside a glass box. Sometimes amidst curious onlookers at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Swinton, 52, who won an Oscar for " Michael Clayton" in 2008, is staging a one-woman installation piece called "The Maybe" in collaboration with the shortlisted-Turner Prize artist Cornelia Parker. She'll appear at the museum six times throughout the year, though like yesterday, they'll be unannounced.
See the pictures from her first display link. The famously offbeat and androgynous Brit laid down to rest in a flannel and jeans, her spectacles and a jug of water by her side.
You can't contain the edginess of Tilda, world!
