Haifa Wahbi to Perform Free of Charge for "Nawart Masr"

Lebanese pop star Haifa Wahbi is getting ready to put on her first pro-bono concert in conjunction with the "Nawart Masr" campaign, whose mission is to breathe new life into the Egyptian tourism industry and support the struggling economy.

Qadry Al Haggar, the media coordinator for the campaign, stated that Haifa had immediately decided to take part in the concert series free of charge because Egypt had played a huge role in her success, and she would do anything to help Egypt and its great people.

Haifa was on board as soon as the heard the idea, Al Haggar added. She apparently agreed without conditions, in order to be of service to the Egyptian people.
