Afterclosing investigations in three law cases, the District Attorney releasedBassem Yousef on a bail of 15,000LE. Yousef, a.k.a Egypt’s John Stewart, wasaccused of insulting Islam, cursing the Egyptian president Dr. Mohamed Morsiand insulting him in his TV show “El Bernameg”.

Itwas spread through the media lately that another arrest warrant was sent toYousef, the political satirist and TV host, which he denied in a telephoneintervention with Lamis El Hadidy in her TV show “Hona Al Asema” and assured hewill be going next morning without any warrants.

Youseftweeted after his release “just released on a 15000LE bail for three cases, anda pending fourth case in which investigation date was not schedule yet.”
