"Qalb al Assad" to Use Armored Cars from Ministry of Interior

Karim El Sebky is halfway through shooting his new film "Qalb al Assad" (Lion Heart) around Nazlet el Seman in Giza and the Wadi Hospital in 6th of October City. The crew is now shooting some scenes at Manzala Lake with stars Mohamed Ramadan, Mohsen Mansour, Sabry Fawaz and Maher Essam.

The upcoming scenes are action-packed and will require the use of armored vehicles and equipment from the much-maligned Ministry of Interior, as well as a number of extras to represent the flocks of police officers and central security personnel. El Sebky will also be teaming up with explosion experts for a car chase scene along the desert highway.

Alongside Ramadan, "Qalb Al Assad" stars Horeya Farghaly, Hassan Hosny, Riham Ayman, Sabry Fowaz and Mohsen Mansour. The action drama is written by Hossam Mousa.
