Bollywood Queen Aishwarya Rai Dazzles on Cannes Red Carpet

Yesterday, Aishwarya Rai, the reigning queen of Bollywood, looked radiant at an evening gala honoring 100 years of Indian cinema, where she was a guest of honor. 

The former Miss World beauty, who has been voted the world's most beautiful woman on thousands of websites, looked as regal as ever in a traditional link, which was embroidered and studded with gold embellishments. 

Her other Cannes outfits, all less traditional than a sari, have link and have gained considerable attention. And to boot, she's not vain! In a CBS interview this year, she said she doesn't think about her looks that much. "I am really OK with the way I look, it's fine. All this is transient. I mean, it's really, you know, it changes with time and that's the external."
