Ehab Tawfiq to Host First Show "Ya Salaam" This Ramadan

Egyptian crooner Ehab Tawfiqjust wrapped shooting the pilot episodes of a new television show he's hosting called "Ya Salaam," due to air this Ramadan. It'll be his first stab at television hosting. If worse comes to worst, he can always serenade the audience.

The idea of the program was taken from the film "Ard el Nifaq" (Land of Hypocrisy), in which there are five drinks, each a different color. The guest has to drink from the beverages, each of which represent something different like hypocrisy, a lie, and courage.

The show is produced and directed by Manal El Saify and will continue shooting for another eight days. A number of well-known figures will appear on the show, including Hany Ramzy, the Tunisian actress Sandy, Hamadah Helal, Reem El Baroudy, Sawsan Bader and Hend Sabry.
