Following the success of "Man of Steel," Warner Bros. has unveiled its plans to make a film that would bring together Superman, played by Henry Cavill, and Batman, played brilliantly by Christian Bale in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" trilogy, in one epic film.

The film is due for a 2015 release, an we wouldn't be surprised if it's lined up just in time for a super hyped-up summer release. The big news could not have been unleashed onto a more enthusiastic and pumped up crowd: "Man of Steel" producer Zach Snyder made the announcement at Comic-Con on Saturday.

President of DC Entertainment Diane Nelson told press, "Superman and Batman together on the big screen is a dream come true for DC [Comics] fans everywhere."

Synder also implied that the two superheroes would be rivals in the film.
