Venice Festival Comes to an End, Critics Award goes to "Tom A la Ferme"

The 70th Venice Film Festival is coming to an end with its closing awards ceremony, followed the screening of the French documentary “Amazonia,” directed by Terry Ragobert.

“Amazonia” follows a monkey born and raised in captivity and its journey to survive in the wild. The movie captures his inability to delve into his new life and his confrontations with different kinds of animals. The movie is in 3D.

Critics awards were announced yesterday where the Canadian movie “Tom a la Ferme,” won the Venezia award. The Orizzonti award, the other critics award in Venice, went to “Återträffen” (The Reunion), directed by Anna Odell.
