Sacha Baron Cohen Awaits a BAFTA Honoring Next November

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen is expecting a new honor on the 9th of November, in the Brittania awards ceremony.The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles will present Cohen with the “Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy “.Sacha has won two BAFTA awards before, both for “Da Ali G Show” in 2000.

Also awaited in the same night is the honoring of actor Benedict Cumberbatch with the Brittania Award for British artist of the year. Actors George Clooney and Ben Kingsley, and director Kathryn Bigelow will also have a share of BAFTA honors.

It's worth mentioning that “ The Dictator” star Sacha Baron Cohen has recently quit a biopic film project about “Queen” lead singer Freddie Mercury which was still in development, due to creative differences with the surviving members of the rock band.Cohen's latest film “ Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” is expected to hit theaters next December.
