May Selim : Singles are a convenient alternative to albums under current circumstances

Using from several songwriters and composers, singer and actress May Selim is currently searching for new songs to come back to the music scene with, after she stayed away for a while due to being busy with film and TV projects.

In an interview with , May has stated that she is now preparing to work on singles, adding that it would be difficult to work on a full album under the current instability in the region, and the album market crisis, which forced many singers to postpone releasing their new albums.

In other news, May is awaiting the release of “ Ash el Bolbol” (Nightingale's Nest), her new film that is supposed to hit theaters next Eid Al Adha, and also “ Fares Ahlam” (Dream Knight), which will premiere in the 10th Dubai International Film Festival.

Selim's latest music album was “Leena Kalam Ba'dein”, which was released in 2010.
