Actor George Clooney praised the director of his last movie “ Gravity” in an interview with Flicks and Bits. Clooney described Cuaron as unique and one of the most interesting and talented directors in the game. He explained, "If you understand filmmaking and if you understand his ideas and the kind of lensing he uses - these big, wide angle lenses, where everything's in focus... then he's famous for these long takes, which he did and were incredible to shoot and see how he plans them.”

Clooney added that he anticipated the movie to be like that, and that it was “incredible to watch.”

About the challenges that faced him shooting this movie, Clooney said: “Gravity did require a certain kind of discipline because you've had to pre-set these shots, not just because of the 3D, but because of all of the elements that took place." Working under this kind of discipline was new but fun to the Hollywood giant. He also said that the cinematography and technology used in “Gravity” will change the industry forever, “It's that good,” he commented.
