Catherine Zeta-Jones Breaks Her Silence to Praise Douglas for his Emmy

Catherine Zeta Jones said that she's thrilled Michael Douglas won an Emmy. The Hollywood couple separated on August 13th, but Douglas continued to wear his wedding ring, saying that the marriage trouble is a “temporary situation.”

The beautiful actress was not by her husband's side at the Los Angeles ceremony, as she opted to attend a gala in China where she stayed to celebrate her 44th birthday. However she now spoke out to congratulate Douglas on his career achievement.

Douglas paid tribute to Zeta-Jones in his Emmy acceptance speech, telling the audience: "I want to thank my wife Catherine for her support."
