Gravity Exceeds $300 Million Worldwide

Accordingto Variety, Gravity has managed to exceed $300 million in the boxoffice worldwide.

Thefilm topped the American box office chart for the third consecutiveweek, with a gross total of $175 million, in addition to $115 millionfrom51 countries, although it hasn't been released yet in the U.K, Franceand Japan, which makesits chances even better in the upcoming weeks.

Thefilm was directed by Alfonso Cuaron, and stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, and it follows both characters in the vast space, asthey are on a routine mission that turns into a disaster, only tofind themselves floating endlessly in space trying to figure a wayback to earth.

Besidesthe U.S, the film came first in the box office lists of othercountries including Russia, in which the film made $17.6 million,Australia and Germany with $11 million each. The film is the tenthhighest grossing film this year.
