Robert Pattinson Joins Benedict Cumberbatch in Lost City of Z

Robert Pattinson is now on board alongside Benedict Cumberbatch tostar in James Gray's Lost City of Z.

The film is an adaptation of the book of the same name by Americanjournalist David grann. Brad Pitt's “Plan B” will be producingthe film, which tells the story of English soldier-turned-explorerColonel Percy Harrison Fawcett, whose obsession with the Amazon andbelief that an ancient civilization resided there led him on manyexpeditions where he narrowly escaped death.

Cumberbatch will play Fawcett in the film, while it has not yetbeen revealed which role will Pattinson be playing. In other news,Pattinson is preparing to film his role in The Rover, and he alsofinished filming Maps to the Stars.
