Pictures: Arab and International Celebrities Attend Oxfam Charity Event in DIFF

TheOxfam Charity Event took place yesterday in the tenth Dubai International Film Festival, which started on the 6thand will end on the 14th of December. The party was attended by anumber of celebrities from the region and the rest of the world.

The event, that was organized in"Armani" hotel in Dubai, aimed to raise funds for the familiesaffected by the Syrian crisis, through selling several famous and unique artpieces. The funds collected exceeded a million dollars, with 430,000 of the sumgained from the selling of an Aston Martin Vanquish, which was specificallyproduced for the celebration of 50 years of James Bond movies, and it appearedin Skyfall, the latest film in the series .

The event was attended by The Avengers star Mark Ruffalo and his wife. Rooney Mara also was also present, in addition to Skyfall star Naomie Harris,and a lot of Arab stars including Ahmed Helmy, Mona Zaki, and director Yousry Nasrallah.
