Daoud Abdel Sayed: Science and Arts Insignia is an honor to me

In an interview with , director Daoud Abdel Sayedstated that he considers the Sciences and Arts Insignia he recieved from the state to be a great honoring, adding that it was a moral addition to the State Recognition Award he recieved recently.

Abdel Sayed also stated that he wasn't informed by the president's decision to give him the insignia, which was also awarded to other Egyptian art symbols like screenwriter Mahfouz Abdel Rahman, actress Mohsena Tawfik and poet Sayed Higab.

Daoud is currently in pre-production of his upcoming film “Qudrat Gheir A'deya” (Extraordinary Abilities) with stars Khaled Abol Naga and Naglaa Badr, with shooting set to start mid January.
