Zahret al-‘Oula Dies at 79

Actress Zahret al-‘Oula died today, aged 79, after a long battle with disease, and a 12 year long absence from the media.

The late icon's career includes more than 160 works for both film and television, the last of which was the religious series “ Al Qadaa' fil Islam 8” (Judiciary in Islam 8), which aired in 2001.
