The 69-year-old Michael Douglas willhave a role in the upcoming Marvel super hero picture “Ant-Man.”He will play Henry "Hank" Pym, the creator of thetechnology used to shrink a human to the size of an insect. "I'vebeen dying to do a Marvel picture for so long," said Douglas.
Douglas won a golden globe on Sundayfor his role in the HBO movie “Behind the Candelabra.” and aboutmaking a superhero movie, he said: "Sometimes - like [when] theydidn't see you for Liberace - you've got to shake them up a littlebit and have some fun."
Ant-Man is due to be released in cinemas in July next year andwill be directed by Edgar Wright, known for directing the trilogyShaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End.
