Jennifer Lawrence to Co-host the Oscars

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science has revealed the first participant in hosting the next Oscar gala: Jennifer Lawrence.

Lawrence has formerly won a best actress Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, and she is a nominee this year in the supporting actress category for her role in American Hustle.

Jennifer Lawrence is the youngest actress in Oscar history to be nominated three times, her first being for her role in the 2011 film Winter's Bone.
