John Travolta: Scientology Saved My Life

John Travoltatalked about his suffering after the death of his son, stating that Scientology saved him from the disaster. The Face/Off star added that he didn't want to continue living after the incident, and that he couldn't have made it through if the Church of Scientology didn't intervene and help him till he recovered from his grief, “daily for two years.”

Travolta's Son, Jett, has died suddenly from a seizure at the age of 16, during a trip to the Bahamas in January,2009. He had a history of seizures and was autistic.

Scientology has always been a controversial religion since its first conception in 1952. Other notable Scientologists include Tom Cruise and Will Smith.
