The first ten episodes of the upcoming television series “Shams”, starring Layla Elwy, are now ready to be handed to the satellite channels that have bought the series' rights from producers King Tut, after director Khaled El Hagar finished supervising the final cuts of the ten episodes.
The series will air on eight channels, most famous of which are Alhayat, Dream, Mehwar and ART.
The director is now shooting a number of exterior scenes in streets and a few hotels before the start of Ramadan, to be loft afterwards with several interior scenes that will be shot during Ramadan in a house in Manyal and a villa by the Alexandria-Cairo highway.
Shams was written by Alaa Hassan, and features Gamil Rateb, Samira Abdel Aziz, Hany Adel, Naser Seif, Hossam Shaaban, Sahar Elsayegh, Malak Qura, Rim Mostafa, Fifi Elsebai, Hanan Youssef and Youssef Ismail.
