Sylvester Stallone Prepares For Final Chapter of "Rambo" Series

In preparing for a fifth installment of “ Rambo,” the star of the world-famous action film series will revive the character for the silver screen, one last time.

Stallone told Variety Magazine, “He [Rambo] is one of the best characters I have portrayed, and I currently training to do it a fifth time.”

The storyline of the newest Rambo film will revolve around the action hero battling drug cartels and human traffickers near the U.S.-Mexico border to rescue an abducted girl. The film is due to be released in 2015.

The Rambo series started in 1982 with the film “ First Blood,” and its success led to the two additional films in 1985 and 1988. In 2008, 20 years after the previous film in the series, Stallone returned to star in the fourth installment of the Rambo franchise, which received moderate success around the world.
