Alexandria Short Film Festival Chooses Jury Members For First Edition

The curators of the first Alexandria Short Film Festival, that will take place next April, have finally chosen the members of the festival's jury, which will include actor Khaled Abol Naga, and film critics Tahany Rashed and Magdy Altayeb.

Several artists will receive honors during the festival, which will screen films from Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, North Sudan, U.A.E, Algeria and Lebanon. The pre-selection committee are yet to finish watching all the submissions to the festival, before choosing the festival's final line-up.

The festival will be the first of its kind in Alexandria, and will also include script-writing and cinematography workshops, which will continue their activities after the festival's conclusion and throughout the whole year.
