In the farthest corner of Upper Egypt, as Hazina awaits, with her paralyzed husband, her son's return from Sudan, she, her daughter, and her granddaughter suffer society's injustice and prejudice against females, whether it's Fahima, who marries an impotent man and gets pregnant after she's taken by Hazina to the temple, or Farhana, who gets pregnant without marriage, incurring her uncle's wrath.
