Kawthar, a drug dealer, frames her maidservant who is sentenced to life imprisonment. Kawthar adopts the daughter of the maid and helps the other sons, the daughter grows up and works in the police and meets with a thief who turns out to be her brother.

Hosneyya is a servant who works for the rich lady Kawthar to be able to support her big family. Kawthar and her partner Sakr are drug dealers. Kawthar fakes the accusation of drug dealing for Hosneyya who keeps the drug bag at her place without knowing its contents. She is sentenced to life prison instead of Kawthar. To atone for her guilt, Kawthar adopts Wafaa, Hosneyya’s daughter, and helps the other kids with money. Wafaa grows up to become a police officer and married Dr. Yahia. She meets ‘Atrees the thief with whom she sympathizes and tries to help him lead an honest life. With the progress of events she discovers that ‘Atrees is her brother and finds out about her real descent. She tries to prove her mother innocent. Meanwhile her husband starts to have doubts about her relation with ‘Atrees and tries to keep her away from him. Kawthar is not condemned because the case is closed.
