When Monjed accuses Ibrahim of using the poetry classes as private lessons, he denies the accusation. Hoda tries to help Nagat out of her bad psychological state.
Mostafa's boss, Haridy, approves the former's engagement to his daughter. As Umm Tota informs Hoda of the location of the treasure she stole, she tells her to take one quarter for herself and give the rest to Tota when she finds her.

As Hoda and Mostafa visit Nagat's father Morsy, the police arrest them all after they find drugs in Morsy's house, but Hoda and Mostafa eventually get released. Mostafa ends his engagement and quits his job.

Mostafa uses a trick to seduce Ibtisam and make her fall for him. Ehsan facilitates a 100 thousand pound loan for Hoda and Mostafa. Ibrahim publishes his first novel.
Hoda asks Ehsan to mediate to get Ibrahim reinstated. Ibrahim gets his job back after the order for his transfer gets recinded. Altaf and Hassan kidnap Fifi.
The gang demands 50 thousand pounds as ransom. Hoda decides to pay the ransom without telling the police, but the delivery goes south after the police intervene.
The gang makes another demand but this time they ask for 100 thousand pounds. Ehsan offers to pay the money. The police rescue Fifi and give the money back to Hoda.

As Mostafa abandons Ibtisam and evades the idea of their marriage, Ibtisam's father dies from the shock after his daughter's reputation got soiled. Ehsan asks Mostafa for Hoda's hand in marriage.
Ibrahim agrees to give cheap private lessons to improve his financial conditions. Ibtisam plots her revenge on Mostafa. Al-Za'frany threatens Hoda to get the money she owes him for the merchandise that he sold her.
Ibrahim prepares to publish his new book, Eve and the Apple. When Hoda asks Ibrahim to take her back, he refuses due to her refusal to give up the ill-begotten fortune. Nagat gets released from prison.
It's revealed that Ehsan is the one who got Al-Za'frany to demand his money from Hoda, all in order to pressure Hoda into marrying Ehsan. Nagat asks Hoda for a job at the factory.
As Hoda tries to pay off the bank loan before the factory gets foreclosed, she discovers that Mostafa has been stealing from her. When she fires him, he tries to burn the factory down, only to get caught in the fire. Mostafa passes away. Hoda returns to Ibrahim, who has made it as a writer.
