Nawal who's married to the dominating businessman Ezzat, is tired of her life with him and asks him for a divorce. She meets fine arts graduate, Shukri who works as a hairdresser and they fall in love, but when Ezzat knows about it, he stops at nothing to keep them apart.

Nawal (Souad Hosny) is married to Ezzat (Hussein Fahmy), a successful businessman who treats her like an object. Treated as an inferior human being, she's attracted to Shokry (Ahmed Zaky) a painter who's working as a hairdresser. She asks for divorce and gets it as Ezzat is sure she's going to comeback. Now in a relationship with Shoukry, Ezzat is jealous and furious to an extent of killing Shoukry by his car. Looking to revenge her lover, she gets back to Ezzat by convincing him that she loves him still. Putting poison in the food, she sits to dinner with her husband who eats the poisoned food and asks her to join him, which she willingly does.
