Abdel Hamid is an honest Arabic teacher who has three kids: Ahmed, Mohamed, and Doaa. Ahmed gets assaulted by three young men at the club and is taken to the hospital. Dr. Ali, a former student of Abdel Hamid's, pays the hospital bill.

Doaaadmires Dr. Ali. Abdel Hamid goes to the club to find out who attacked his son. Hanna goes to live with her uncle Abdel Hamid. Negar goes to visit Ahmed. After his recovery, Ahmed wants revenge on those who attacked him.

Negar testifies that Khalid, Ashraf, and Shafik are the ones who attacked Ahmed. It is revealed that Khalid and Ashraf are the sons of powerful men, which makes Abdel Hamid determined to get justice for his son. Dr. Ali proposes to Doaa.

Ahmed testifies against the three guys but they deny it. Ashraf's father, Shokry, tries to make Negar recant her testimony. Dr. Ali and Doaa get engaged.

Khalid's father, Kamal, reproaches his son for what he did. Negar's father, Fouad, asks his daughter to recant her testimony but she refuses. Hanna wants to live in a girls dorm because she has feelings for Ahmed but he doesn't reciprocate her feelings.

Kamal and his son go to Ahmed and apologize, but Ashraf's father, Shokry, refuses to join them.

Shokry's lawyer askes Abdel Hamid to drop the charges but he refuses. Khalid's mother, Nagwa, is upset that her son wants to stay with her ex-husband. Fouad asks his ex-wife, Olfat, to convince Negar to drop the case.

During Doaa and Dr. Ali's wedding, Ahmed gets arrested on a trumped-up charge that Shokry arranged but he gets acquitted. Abdel Hamid's school principal tells him that he is being investigated by legal affairs.

Abdel Hamid resigns after being accused of having an affair with one of his students. Shokry's lawyer, Ismail, decides to stand with Abdel Hamid. Hanna starts training at Kamal's office.

The school principal asks Abdel Hamid not to give up. Yasmin's father, Shawky, plots with Shokry to give false testimony against Abdel Hamid.

Yasmin tells her father that she won't testify against her teacher Abdel Hamid. Khalid takes notice of Hanna. Negar's father wants her to marry Ashraf but she declines.

Shokry delays Ali's PhD delegation and asks him to choose between traveling and Doaa. Abdel Hamid asks Ali to leave Doaa in order to fulfill his dream but he refuses.

Abdel Hamid decides to drop the case to protect his children from Shokry and he resumes his work. Negar's father wants her to travel with him.

Khalid confesses his love for Hanna. Abdel Hamid asks Hanna to leave her work at Kamal's newspaper. Ahmed leaves home and Abdel Hamid finds him. Ahmed evades Negar.

Negar goes to Ahmed to say goodbye. Abdel Hamid asks Kamal to let Riad work at his newspaper. Hanna hides her relationship with Khalid from her family.

Ahmed is sick and Abdel Hamid grows worried about him. Nagwa starts admiring Riad and asks him to work for her. Ahmed starts going to Farouk's coffee shop.

When Ahmed has a fight with Ashraf and Shafik, they are taken to the hospital. They deny that he injured them. Ahmed goes to hide at Riad's place.

Asharf wants to use Hanna to get back at Ahmed but Khalid is against it. Ahmed's mother, Amal, is diagnosed with diabetes because of her grief over Ahmed. Abdel Hamid tries to find his son.

Khalid wants to marry Hanna customarily but she refuses. Nagwa tries to convince Riad to take his exam. Khalid tells Ahmed that Asharf has hired thugs to beat him.

Ahmed starts taking drugs and reconciles with Ashraf and Shafik. Abdel Hamid is shocked by Ahmed's bad grades in the exams. Riad flunks high school. Doaa and Ali get married and travel abroad.

Somia tells her father about her mother's relationship with Riad. Ahmed starts selling drugs to Shafik, Ashraf, and Khalid. Abdel Hamid's sister, Fatma, wants Ahmed to marry her daughter Hanna.

Kamal asks Nagwa to get back to him. Ahmed takes his friends to Master Farouk who works with him in selling drugs. Nagwa wants Riad to marry her.

Hanna blames herself for having an affair with Khalid. Negar returns and looks for Ahmed with Abdel Hamid but they get robbed.

Ahmed asks Farouk to return the things he stole from Negar. Riad and Nagwa get married in spite of the age difference. Khalid and Hanaa have a customary marriage.

Somia goes to live with her father. Fouad asks Abdel Hamid to keep Ahmed away from his daughter. Negar goes to the North Coast to look for Ahmed.

Shokry wants Fouad to fabricate a charge for Ahmed and his father. Fouad finds out that Ahmed is dealing drugs. Abdel Hamid finds Ahmed.

Olfat suggests that Abdel Hamid and Ahmed partner up with her in the opening of an educational institution. Khalid asks Hanna to stay away from him, and she tells his father that they got married. Mohamed passes the police academy tests.

Khalid tells his father that he tore his marriage document to Hanna. When Ahmed hides the drugs bag at his house, the police arrive to search for it and Abdel Hamid claims that the bag belongs to him.

Abdel Hamid is arrested. As he gets interrogates, he refuses to give his son up. Doaa arrives in Egypt to support her father.

Negar and her mother stand by Abdel Hamid's family. Abdel Hamid is released and his family try to raise the bail money. He decides to find out who reported Ahmed to the police.

Kamal tries to convince Abdel Hamid to confess the truth. Negar's father asks his daughter to forgive him and stands by Ahmed. Nagwa abandons Riad. Hanna wants to take revenge on Khalid.

Khalid kills Hanna after she tries to kill him. He gets caught with Ashraf while trying to get rid of the body. Ashraf, Khalid, and Shafik are arrested and interrogated. Ahmed confesses his guilt to the prosecution. As he gets imprisoned, his family breaks down.
