Ibrahim Al-Tayer is released from prison for good behavior and tries to search for an honest job. Writer Hussein Ra'afat suffers from his wife Sawsan who arranges a ploy to get rid of him and marry a wealthy man Ibrahim is offered a deal to smuggle large amounts of money outside Egypt.
Ibrahim decides to seize the smuggled money and hides it in a secret location. He asks his psychiatrist to check him in the mental hospital for a temporary period and pays him a bribe in exchange for this, and he meets Hussein Ra'afat there.
Rashwan tries to find a way to get the money that Ibrahim stole, and a reward of five thousand pounds is offered to anyone who reports the location of Ibrahim Al-Tayer, and the gang is trying to fabricate a murder for Ibrahim in order to find him.
Dr. Fadaly is injured in a plane crash, and he is the only one who knows the truth about Ibrahim, which makes him locked up in the hospital for an indefinite period. Ibrahim and Hussein decide to escape from the hospital.
Ibrahim and Hussein end up in a burning barley field in a remote village, and they extinguish the flames after Zoghby tries to set fire to the land, and Ibrahim considers staying with them to protect them from Zoghby.
Ibrahim decides to send Afaf to bring in money to help her family to pay what they owe to Zoghby. Rashwan's men move as soon as they become aware that Afaf came to the pensione. Ibrahim tells Hussein about his feelings towards Afaf, and the gang decides to follow Afaf.
Ibrahim and Hussein decide to flee the village and they ride with Atris in his truck as he gives them temporary shelter on his calves farm. They work at the farm, and Atris's wife, Dalal, tries to seduce Hussein.
Ibrahim seizes the opportunity of traveling with Atris on business, and he goes to see Naima in the pensione. Rashwan finds out and asks his men to catch him, and Naima informs the police about Ibrahim to protect him from the gang.
After Ibrahim hits Atris with a shovel on his head, he and Hussein flee the farm, and they encounter Nahed whose car breaks down and she takes them with her. Hussein calls to check on his daughter but finds out that she is dead. The police learn that Ibrahim and Hussein are in Alexandria.
Hussein is arrested for trying to kidnap a child. Ibrahim continues to flee on his own, and he arrives at the villa as recommended by Nahed to work as a chef. Salah Abu Al-Nur, Nahed's manager at work, tests him as he cooks a very bad stew.
Ibrahim is suspicious of the cargo that is in the possession of Salah's guests; he finds that it is loaded with smuggled antiquities. Ibrahim and Hussein tell Nahed that they are cops, and they recruit her to work with them against Salah. Hussein wants to take revenge on Sawsan.
Ibrahim incites Sawsan to escape to save her life, but Hussein is arrested before he succeeds in killing her, and he meets Hamama, his old friend, who asks him for help. It turns out that Hamama works for Rashwan.
Rashwan confronts Ibrahim, and Ibrahim succeeds in escaping after locking him in the basement of Hamama. Zainab tries to persuade Hussein to continue writing his novel "The Beloved Country", and Ibrahim decides to report Rashwan.
Ibrahim escapes from the police and hides with Hajj Radwan in the alley. Na'ima tries to persuade Ibrahim to hand over the money in his possession. Mona tells the gang where Ibrahim is, and they go there and kill him.
