Jassas Ibn Murrah is upset with what Kulayb is doing with Rabi'a. Al-Muhalhel opposes Kulayb's harshness and cruelty with his tribe. Kulayb meets Jalila, Jassas's sister, and falls for her.
Jassas's father is upset that his son Hammam is friends with the infamous Al-Muhalhel and tells him to stay away from him. Kulayb proposes to Jalila who refuses him as she awaits the guy she met recently, not knowing that he is Kulayb
Kulayb marries Jalila. Jassas remains opposed to the fact that Kulayb has become his brother-in-law. Jalila asks Kulayb to stop his brother from visiting them due to his bad behavior, which makes Kulayb suspect him.
As Kulayb and Jassas clash, Jalila tries to reconcile them. Kulayb's dog is killed and Kulayb vows revenge on the killer. Murrah suspects that his son Jassas is the killer.
Jalila fights with Kulayb when he gives his brother money since Al-Muhalhel is known for drinking and sleeping around. Al-Muhalhel meets Zainab at his sister's place and falls for her.
Al-Muhalhel tells his sister that he loves Zainab, as she discovers that her son loves Zainab as well. Jassas and Muzdalif are considering cutting ties with Kulayb. Al-Muhalhel informs Kulayb that he wants to get married.
Um Al-Aghar tells her son that Zainab loves Al-Muhalhel. Zainab and Al-Muhalhel get married but he returns to his old ways. Zainab returns to her family and leaves him.
Kulayb discovers that Jassas is inciting people against him. Hostilities rise between the two, especially after Jassas sends his sheep to graze in Kulayb's land. Kulayb promises Jalila not to harm Jassas.
When Kulayb kills a camel that belongs to Al-Basus, Jassas swears revenge and tries to gather people to his banner. As Kulayb rallies his tribe against Jassas, war breaks out between Banu Taghlib (Taghlib tribe) and Banu Bakr (Bakr tribe)
Murrah tries to convince Kulayb not to punish the entire tribe for what Jassas has done, but Kulayb refuses. As Kulayb's sister tries to warn him against war, he is killed by Jassas and Muzdalif.
Al-Muhalhel buries his brother and is encouraged to take revenge. Jalila returns to her father's house after he decides to leave to avoid a confrontation with Banu Taghlib.
As Jassas tries to apologize to Jalila for killing her husband, Jalila tells her father that she is pregnant. He advises her not to reveal the pregnancy so that Banu Taghlib don't take the baby. Banu Taghlib demand that Murrah give them either Jassas or Hammam to pay the blood debt but he refuses.
War breaks out between the two tribes as Al-Muhalhel kills over 30 men of Banu Bakr. Jalila gives birth to a boy. Jassas and Muzdalif run away.
For more than twenty years, Al-Muhalhel wages war on his best friend, Hammam. Jalila's son grows up and asks Jassas to teach him how to fight so that he can join the war. Hammam teaches his adopted son to fight.
Hammam prepares for war. Unaware that Al-Muhalhel is his uncle, Hagras fights him. Hammam is killed by his adopted son when the latter realizes that he belongs to Banu Taghlib, not Banu Bakr.
Al-Muhalhel mourns Hammam. Jassas confesses that he regrets killing Kulayb and tries to make peace but Al-Muhalhel refuses.
Al-Harith Ibn Abbad joins the war on Banu Bakr's side after his son is killed by Al-Muhalhel. When Al-Harith captures Al-Muhalhel, he promises him safety before he realizes that he is his son's murderer.
Al-Muhalhel insists on continuing the war but Abu Noweira convinces Banu Taghlib to agree to a truce. When Hagras discovers that he is Kulayb's son and that he has been fighting his uncle, he kills Jassas. Al-Muhalhel grows mad and dies.
