Essam asks for Omaima's hand. When Nahed Al-Wakeel hires Rabei to defend her, Rabei reminisces over their old love story.

Tharwat tells Rabei to stay away from Nahed. Nahed makes Rabei her company's legal advisor. A lawyer who works for Nahed tells Rabei's wife of his old love story with Nahed.

Rabei brings up his involvement with Nahed in court and admits to their love story. The news about his speech makes it to the newspaper.

Rabei's children confront him about what he said in court. Ahmed and Omaima are upset with Rabei for the way he talks about Nahed. Rabei fights with his wife Souad.

Essam's brother returns from Kuwait and takes back the apartment that Essam and Omaima are supposed to marry in. When Rabei tells Nahed about it, she takes him to see an apartment for them.

Essam marries Omaima as Ahmed gets engaged to Ola. Nahed attends the wedding and meets Souad.

Nahed convinces Rabei to run for the Parliament. Rabei gets in trouble when the people discover that Nahed, who was accused of fraud, is supporting Rabei. Souad comes to Rabei's rescue.

Rabei and Souad quarrel over Nahed. The Interpol arrests Ashraf Elwan. When Rabei goes to see his old friend, Ashraf tells him that Nahed had seduced him in the past and warns him about her.

Omaima gets a job as a radio host. Rabei defends Nahed in court and tries to pin the crimes on her ex-husband, Ashraf Elwan.

When Rabei fights with Nahed, he seeks the advice of his friend who has repeatedly told him to stay away from Nahed. When Nahed and Rabei reconcile, the latter asks for her hand in marriage.

Rabei fights with Ashraf's lawyer in court. When Omaima discovers that Essam is writing a script about her parents, she grows mad and leaves the house.

Nahed tries to get Ashraf's lawyer to leave the case, but he refuses. Ahmed informs his mother that he has passed his tests.

Ahmed tells Rabei that he has graduated with high honors. Rabei tells Ahmed that he wants to marry Nahed.

When the 1992 earthquake occurs, Nahed's crimes come into light after the new schools she built collapse. Ashraf tries to have Rabei killed. Rabei sues Nahed and Ashraf and returns to his family.
