The doctor informs Helen that a dying David might suffer from hallucinations. David passes away after telling Helen that he is an Egyptian Muslim and advises her to contact the General Intelligence Directorate. When Aziz is informed of the death of Agent 313, he insists on attending the funeral.

Helen mulls over what the doctor said about the possibility of hallucinations. Helen asks Nehad to deliver a message to the director of the General Intelligence Directorate. Two agents are sent to see Helen, who receives a call from a guy with an oriental accent, making her fear he might be Israeli.

The two agents arrive at Helen's house and inform her that they are Egyptians. As they invite her to visit Egypt, they provide her with a fake passport under the name Helena Raafat Al-Haggan. Helen meets up with Aziz and the director of the General Intelligence Directorate.

Aziz informs Helen that David's real name is Raafat Al-Haggan. He recounts the story of how there was a plan to stir up trouble between the Egyptian and American regimes through a series of bombings. He also informs her about Mohsen Momtaz's efforts to form the Intelligence Directorate.

As the culprits behind the bombings are caught, John Darling and Frank manage to evade capture. Mohsen starts to consider planting a spy inside Israel. Aziz recounts how Hassan and Mohsen came to choose Raafat after the latter was arrested by the British forces.

Mohsen oversees Raafat's interrogation and decides he is fit for the job, even though he still doesn't know his real name, nationality, or religion. Mohsen sifts through the fake passports Raafat has till he discovers his real name and sends Mohamed Rafik to gather information about him.

Mohsen bails Raafat out and gets him to reveal his real name. He asks Raafat to pretend to be a Jew called Levi Cohen. Raafat recalls his previous employment in the Shell Company of Egypt and how he Rafik received him when he went on vacation. Mohsen and Hassan discuss Raafat's rebellious nature.

Mohsen tells Raafat that he has to be Levi to the outside world. Raafat tells him of how he was wrongfully accused of theft. When Raafat recounts his encounter with Ephraim, Mohsen warns him not to reveal his real name. Levi is arrested, prompting the Jews to start gathering information about him.

Ezra insists that they must get close to Levi to learn if his arrest is a ploy from the Egyptians or not. Mohsen studies the file of a family that has a son, Yaakov Benjamin Hanania, who is close to a man called Sarouf. Sarah informs Adly that the police are trying to find information about Levi.

Mohsen asks Levi to visit a Jewish synagogue. He instructs him on his new identity as Yaakov and informs him that he will be pursued by the police. When Sarah and Ephraim run into Levi, Ezra asks them to befriend him. Sarouf learns of what Levi said about fighting against the Germans.

Mohsen instructs Levi to reveal his real name to the Jews when he gets arrested. When Levi and Ephraim are arrested, Levi reveals that he is actually Yaakov Benjamin Hanania. Sarouf instructs Ezra to have Levi smuggle some money as a test. Mohsen tells Levi that it might be smuggled to Israel.

When Levi refuses to work with Sarouf, he sends Ephraim to bring him over and cautions him against the Egyptians. Mohsen tells Raafat that he needs information about the Israeli Jews, not the Egyptian ones. Raafat proves willing to serve his country.

When Raafat is arrested for a scam he ran in England, he escapes and informs the Jews of what happened. Sarouf sets a trap for Levi by ordering him to go with Sarah to Sharl Samhoun's house in Alexandria, then has Sarah ask him not to go. Ezra confirms Levi's loyalty to Israel.

Raafat learns that he was being tested. Raafat visits Sharl Samhoun and shares his wish to leave Egypt with him. Sharl offers to have Raafat, whom he knows as Yaakov, take the identity of his late son David to be able to leave Egypt. Magy is saddened when she learns that he is leaving the country.

Raafat tells Mohsen about his new identity as David. Raafat visits his sister and claims that he is leaving for an Arab country for work. Mohsen and Mostafa train Raafat to use secret ink. Sharl and Sarouf agree to have Levi travel to France as a test. Now known as David, Raafat leaves Egypt.
