Sarah has past traumas she hasn't healed from; her father treated her mother badly which caused Sarah's intellectual development to stop at the age of 4. Dr. Hassan starts working at Dr. Ezz's clinic, and he gets curious about Sarah and decides to take charge of her case.

Hassan manages to get Sarah's medical files and asks Dr. Ezz to supervise her case. Dr. Ezz eventually accepts, provided that Hassan gets Sarah's family's consent.

It turns out there has been a clash between Mourad and Khaled over inheritance as Khaled wants to take over Sarah's inheritance. Ola, Hassan's fiancée, gets mad at him for neglecting her. Hassan gives Sarah her first session.

Sarah responds to Hassan's treatment. Noha tries to incite Khaled against his brother Mourad. Dr. Fawzy is upset about his wife's domineering nature that stems from the fact that she is quite well off.

A miracle happens when Sarah opens her eyes and her mother rejoices. Dr. Ezz takes the credit for Sarah's improvement.

Sarah's brothers are annoyed when news of her recovery are widely published. Ola gets extremely jealous as Hassan spends more time with Sarah, and the latter shows significant improvement.

A dispute arises between Falak and Fawzy and he leaves the house. Sarah's brothers pay no heed to her improvement and their only concern is the inheritance. Sarah's mother decides to write the villa over to her. Sarah starts pronouncing simple words like names.

Somaia tries to lure Khaled in. Dr. Falak tries to reconcile with Fawzi. Upon seeing her mother, Sarah has a mental breakdown because seeing her triggers bad memories and past traumas.

Raeifa breaks down after the incident. Khaled wants to be the trustee of Sarah's property. Mourad warns Khaled against his relationship with Somaia.

Sarah's brothers try to falsify her medical records to take over her share of the inheritance. Dr. Fawzy returns home. Khaled becomes the trustee of Sarah's property and decides to stop her treatment.

Hassan gets upset that Dr. Safaa falsified the information in the report to claim that Sarah isn't showing signs of improvement, and he gets mad about Khaled's decision to stop her treatment.

Sarah's mother decides to continue Sarah's treatment. Ola warns Hassan against his mad obsession with Sarah and her treatment. Khaled files a complaint against Hassan.

Laila tries to incite Sarah against Hassan, but Sarah actually tells Hassan she has feelings for him, and Raeifa learns about her daughter's feelings.

Raeifa learns that Sarah's mental development won't surpass that of a 4-year-old. Sarah's family decides to take her out of the asylum, but Sarah is unable to properly deal with the outside world, especially in Hassan's absence.

Hassan resents being removed from Sarah's case and being distanced from her. The feeling is quite mutual as Sarah also misses him. Khaled asks Somaia to marry him customarily.

Sarah fakes being ill so that Hassan would come to see her. When he comes over, he reprimands her and asks her family to pay more attention to her so that she doesn't relapse.

Hassan decides to rush his wedding to Ola in an attempt to forget Sarah. Noha learns of Khaled's relationship with Somaia and threatens her to stay away from him.

Sarah runs away from her family house to go and see Hassan, but she gets lost and Naiema, a coffee shop owner, finds her and takes her home.

Khaled files a report against Hassan, accusing him of pushing Sarah to run away. Naiema's family starts to use Sarah as a mere housemaid.

Mahrous, Naiema's son, tells Sarah he loves her and wants to marry her in the hope that he will get access to her wealthy family's fortune. When Sarah refuses, she is tortured severely by Mahrous and Naiema.

Hasab Allah decides to help Sarah escape in order to relieve his family from legal accountability.

Sarah meets Mahmoud, a kind-hearted man who takes her in. Meanwhile, Sarah's family offers a huge reward to anyone who can find her.

Mahrous learns of Sarah's location and decides to abduct her to get the reward. Somaia presses charges against Noha for threatening her.

Sarah is miraculously saved, and Mahrous and his family are arrested. Sarah's family eventually finds her, and she asks them to return to the hospital where Hassan is.

Khaled breaks up with Noha to marry Somaia. Sarah tells Hassan she wants to marry him.

Noha leaves the house after Khaled's marriage. Ola vows revenge on Hassan for breaking off their engagement and plots to incite Khaled against him.

Dr. Safaa asks Hassan to stay away from Sarah to give her the chance to improve, but Sarah's mother objects and decides for her daughter to continue the treatment.

Sarah's mother stands up to Khaled to prevent him from ruining his sister's life, and she invites Hassan to spend the vacation with the family.

Hassan decides not to leave Sarah and to stand by her against all odds. Sarah's mother asks Hassan to marry her to protect her from Khaled's foul intrigues.

Khaled threatens Hassan to force him to leave Sarah. Somaia enlists the help of a group of thugs to beat Hassan and threaten him. Ezzat asks for Sarah's hand with the intent to seize her fortune. Raeifa gets Sarah an identity card so that she can be recognized as an adult.

Hassan is transferred to the hospital after being severely beaten. Sarah refuses to marry Ezzat. It turns out that Somaia used Noha's name in her agreement with the thugs to implicate her in the crime.

Upon Samir's confessions, Somaia is arrested. Khaled refuses to wed Sarah to Hassan and continues his merciless practices against her. Sarah eventually relapses as she loses all hope of being with the man she loves.
