Souad tells her daughter Wafaa about her infant son, whom she lost during the war. Abu Wafaa (Wafaa's father) suffers due to the corruption of his brother Masoud. Salim, on the other hand, aspires to marry his cousin Salwa and works with her father in the workshop.

Abu Wafaa dies due to his shock at what Masoud did at work, and the latter files a suit for guardianship over his brother’s children. Rabie takes his new job despite his mother’s objection. Salim runs the workshop while his uncle Abu Salwa is ill.

Souad discovers that Masoud had a hand in the disappearance of her infant son and that he found him and gave him to a person named Abu Khaled, so she begins, with the help of Jalal, to search for him. Salim tries to prevent his sister Afaf from learning.

Souad is able to reach Abu Khaled’s wife, who tells her that she left the child with her husband’s friend to take care of him. Salim tries to persuade Afaf to marry his friend Khairy.

The employee Adel informs Souad about Masoud’s tampering with building materials in the hospital. Rabie faces a situation at work that almost caused him to lose his life. Souad reaches her son’s place at Abu Salim's.

Abu Salim invites Souad to meet his family and see her son without telling him anything and asks her for some time to tell him the truth.

Umm Salim (Salim's mother) has a breakdown and refuses to return Rabie to his mother, Souad. On the other hand, Ahmed gets a promotion in the company, which angers Masoud.

Abu Salim tells Rabie that Souad is his real mother. Salim treats Rabie badly after finding out that he is not his brother. A planned crash occurs to Ahmed and he is taken to the hospital.

Ahmed records Masoud's confession that he is behind the car crash and blackmails him into letting him work with him. Rabie bids farewell to Abu Salim's family and leaves to stay at Souad's house. Salim informs the police about his partner Abdo to get rid of him.

Rabie runs the company along with Wafaa and Souad. Salim evades Abdo's wife and refuses to give her Abdo's money that is in his possession.

Salim mortgages his uncle’s workshop to have the money for his new project with Khairy, who promises Abdo that he will take revenge on Salim for him, and the court rules that Rabie is Souad's son.

Masoud incites someone to kidnap Rabie and demand a ransom from Souad. Salim goes to prison after it is discovered that he stole the money. After Rabie is rescued, Masoud is found dead in his home.
