After their marriage, Marwan and Nada arrive at their apartment to discover that a person called Sankoh is inside, as he tries to prevent them from entering. It turns out that Sankoh had an agreement with Abdel Moein, the owner of the apartment.

As Jamila comes to stay with her daughter Nada and her husband Marwan, the latter suffers because of his refusal to stay with them, so Abu Qusay and Sankoh decide to intervene to help him.

Sankoh resorts to Marwan's house to install an ocean detector in his balcony, which is a primitive-made telescope. A group of men try to enter Marwan's house because they believe a thief is hiding inside.

As Abdel Moein comes to Marwan's apartment, Abu Qusay's wife suspects that Abdel Moein intends to kick Marwan and Nada out. Nada asks Abdel Moein to rent the room next to them, but he refuses. Marwan suffers from his mother-in-law's obsession with music.

Marwan and Nada's apartment is filled with neighbors because of their desire to listen to music with Jamila. After the electricity goes out, Marwan and Nada think that they got rid of the music, but the suffering continues with Jamila using the radio.

As Bakri and Bulbul come to Marwan's house, Bulbul proposes to him to invest in a project to import and export from Bulgaria. Bulbul convinces the residents of the building to invest their money with him in exchange for providing visas to Bulgaria.

As Irfan puts all his money to invest with Bulbul and Bakri, it turns out that Bulbul, after his disappearance, is only a thief who uses Bakri without his knowledge to make money from the residents of the building.

Bakri and Sankoh devise a plan to get the room on the roof by selecting a candidate close to them for the head of the building council. Abu Qusay is chosen but he refuses, and the pair resort to Irfan who agrees.

Irfan wins the elections and gives the room on the roof to Bakri and Sankoh, so Abu Qusay decides to take revenge by leaving his cat to eat the birds that Sankoh breeds; Sankoh and Bakri get rid of the cat.

Abu Qusay searches for a tenant for the room on the roof to get rid of Bakri and Sankoh. A mysterious man named Rocky comes and Abu Qusay tries to convince him to rent the room.

After Jamila decides to rent her apartment, Marwan and Nada are shocked by her desire to live with them, so Marwan resorts to escape from his mother-in-law by going with Nada on a trip to the swimming pool.

Rocky asks Marwan to help him get engaged to Rasha, the daughter of Abu Qusay, so Marwan agrees in hopes to get rid of Sankoh and Bakri from the room. On the night of the engagement, Bakri believes that Abu Qusay agreed to his engagement from Rasha, only to be surprised by Rocky in his place.

Abu Samar and Abu Anwar come to Sankoh and ask him to buy the river bird for a large sum. Sankoh discovers that the bird has disappeared, as it's revealed that Rocky and Marwan are the ones who kidnapped it.

After Sankoh hands over a fake bird to Abu Anwar and Abu Samar, they discover the matter and report it to the police. The duo disguises themselves and sells a fake bird to Sankoh to get their money back.

Marwan and Nada come up with a plan to fake their divorce to get her mother out of the house and get rid of Bakri, but the plan soon fails.

Sankoh proposes to Marwan and the rest of the residents to participate in a savings cooperative and hand it over to the those in need of money the most. The group holds a draw to select the first person to cash the cooperative, only to discover that Sankoh has put his name in all the draw papers.

Jamila and Nada go to stay at Abu Qusay's house to allow Marwan to focus on his project. The building's residents spend their day in complete silence to help Marwan focus, and he succeeds in completing the project.

As Naeem, Jamila's old flame, comes back and asks to marry her again after making up a fortune, she agrees. But soon Sankoh reveals his lie, as Naeem brings his first wife before officiating the mariage.

Jamila resorts to witchcraft with the help of a charlatan to get rid of Nada and Rocky in Marwan and Rasha's life, but her plan is soon revealed.

All of a sudden, Abu Qusay is forced to travel mysteriously, and when news of his death spread, Sankoh and Jamila try to hide the news from his family, but Abu Qusay returns in the end.

Jamila discovers that Rocky actually works as a street vendor, while Abu Qusay's wife discovers that he is not the manager of El Khadra Foundation but rather a seller. Marwan goes to bail Bakri out of jail after he caused an accident.
