Jassim refuses to let his wife Maysoon work, divorces her, and prevents her from seeing her son. Years pass and Maysoon works as a flight attendant and meets Mazen, who likes her and marries her. Maysoon tries to contact her son Rashid, but his father prevents her.

Jassim quarrels with the nanny, Zaitouna, and kicks her out of the house for giving his son Rashid a picture of his mother, Maysoon. Jassim’s mother rebukes her son for depriving her grandson of his mother. Zaina, Jassim’s wife, tries to convince him to send Rashid to a boarding school abroad.

Rashid travels and meets a group of bad friends. Jassim seeks revenge on Maysoon by tricking her into believing that he has agreed to let her see her son Rashid. He then shocks his wife, Zaina, with news of his marriage to his secretary, Saiba.

Jassim tells his mother that he wants to return to Maysoon and believes that she has divorced Mazen, but Saiba assures him otherwise and blackmails him with telling Maysoon where Rashid is. Maysoon threatens Jassim with trust receipts so he will tell her where her son is.

Jassim drops the report he filed against Abu Kamal, and Rashid meets Madeleine and likes her. He is accused in a theft case abroad and is forced to return to his country and not complete his studies.

Jassim's mother asks her son to have Rashid stay at her house, but the police arrest Rashid for stealing a car and being addicted to drugs. He is placed in a juvenile facility, and Maysoon is able to reach him.
